November 02, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- During a homestretch campaign in New York City, Vice-President Joe Biden rallied support for the Democratic Party in the midterm elections. While experts are predicting the GOP to capture at least the 39 seats needed to regain control of the House, the Senate has several elections that are still too-close-to-call.
While visiting a phone bank in New York, where at least 8 House Democratic candidates are vulnerable in a typically "blue state," Biden encouraged voters to ignore political pundits.
Even though he recognized the current anger and negative mood of the country towards the Obama Administration, the Vice-President asked voters to help the Democrats stay in power to allow the economic recovery efforts to continue.
